'Match on Action' is the continuous flow of a scene but with different cuts and angles within it.
For example, the video below shows a woman getting out a book. The camera follows her walking towards the bookcase, then changes to her getting the book off the shelf, then to another closer angle where she's reading it. Even though each part has been filmed separately, they are put together and constructed to appear as if it is one flowing action.
